Our Software
DEMETRA CONNECT is a cloud-based management and automation software for farms, developed by GREATIT and intended for DEMETRA users.
The sensors in action detect conditions such as pH, ambient temperature, humidity, nutrient levels and more, which can be viewed and controlled from a smartphone or desktop app.
It is also possible to connect a webcam, put some music or manage DEMETRA vocally. Everything can be managed through DEMETRA CONNECT, with the exception of manual labour.

Input Factors: Reducing Energy and Environmental Impact
We avoid the use of phytopharmaceuticals and fertilizers, reducing energy costs (up to 149,60MJ/kg) and emissions. Seeds with no chemical treatments and biodegradable substrates lower the impact.

Placing the container close to the consumers, we reduce the externalities of transport (noise, traffic) and optimise the nutritional and energetic costs of logistics.

Energy: Careful Energy Balancing
The system requires energy, but studies indicate an incidence of energy on Vertical Farms amounting to 2/3. Lighting and thermo-hygrometric control absorb the main energy.
